As THE BOLLYWOOD VIOLINIST AND BEYOND, I take your event to another level of beauty and glamour. From the ceremony to the reception, I bring my best to every special moment. My performance is not simply an extra luxury or ornament at your celebration. With high-quality soundtracks emanating through the air, mixed with the sound of my violin, wirelessly-mic'd for mobility, I create a full concert-sound and cover your musical requirements on a large scale.
PLEASE NOTE: I can certainly collaborate with other musicians, and dancers as well. I can also present a string quartet, if that is what you might desire. (Please see FAQ)
As a classically-trained violinist with a doctorate in Violin Performance, I bring intensly high-level musicianship and musicality—my foundations are romance, sophistication, and glamour, infused with energy and passion.
As a violinist, I thrive on the opportunity to contribute to the emotional atmosphere of your day, connecting and interacting with you, your family, and your guests through my music. I weave my violin into the fabric of the event and take it to unimaginable heights.
My repertoire includes all eras of Bollywood, Punjabi, South Indian, and American Top 40 to Hindu Bhajans and Western Classical...and many other genres from around the world. I mean it when I say I can play songs of any genre you desire. My training allows for this.
Performing for ballroom receptions is my forte and when I truly come alive. I glamorize the atmosphere, work the crowd, and frame the couple with the beautiful sound of the violin throughout the reception. I perform a grand reception welcome, and then may perform for all special moments, including the couple’s first dance. Reception performances fill me with excitement.

Pre-ceremony /Ceremony/ Nikkah
Your ceremony is a sacred event, and I approach it with respect and love. I set the stage for your ceremony with soothing melodies before the ceremony, after which I would perform custom-arranged songs to announce the arrival of the baraat and the groom, the bride, and relatives. I also perform Indian classical during the ceremony to accompany mantra recitation. The ceremony-end (vidaai/rukhsati) will also receive special melodies.
Cocktail Hour/ Intimate Celebrations/Proposals
I forge the mood and vibe of your intimate celebration, and also set the stage for the party to come during the reception!
Grand Receptions /Valimas
Crafting beautiful receptions/walimas has become my signature speciality. The flow of the night is often as such: I perform and grand selections for your reception welcome, and then may perform for all special moments, including your first dance. I proceed to make all special moments, such as cake-cutting, photo-taking, and ring exchange, even more precious with my music. I take pride in custom-arranging melodies of your choosing that resonate with your love or life story. My desire is to weave my music, and by extension, my being, into the emotional fabric of your special night, and for both to take a place in the hearts of you and all your guests.
'Electri-Khyaal' : Improv-Show with the DJ
When the dance-floor opens, the DJ chooses his/her beats and tunes, and I improv and jam note to note with my electric violin, creating an energetic and khyaali spontaneous vibe...a modern sound with a classical touch...a perfect way to close the night. It's an experience your guests will not forget.
